A different kind of automation and manufacturing IT system integrator, ROWhy (now Toward Zero Indianapolis) got its start in 1990, as Gene’s Industrial Equipment Service – servicing machine tool systems and keeping Midwestern customers manufacturing. In 2012, the business expanded to include manufacturing software capabilities and rebranded the company as ROWhy highlighting their focus on customer ROI as a part of every control and software project.
In 2015, we joined the Toward Zero™ team to deepen the contribution we can make to manufacturers. By partnering with Toward Zero Co., ROWhy has also expanded our offering to include the Toward Zero suite of services, which will help customers roadmap their journey to become World Class Manufacturers.
Many people working in manufacturing, spend a large part of their day gathering information about quality and productivity in the plant. ROWhy is founded on the simple idea that by modernizing our customers’ manufacturing automation, and by simplifying access to information coming from the plant floor, we can change the way people work, so that they can focus on the quality of the work itself.
