Del Monte’s goal wasn’t “new technology” … it just wanted to make the technology it already bought deliver results. It got something more: exponential performance gains.

DelMonte_cover_TZ

Del Monte is one of the largest producers and distributors of branded canned food products in the U.S. The company looked to Toward Zero to examine business goals, financial metrics, technology infrastructure, manufacturing capability, and alignment. The result was a comprehensive cost savings plan by making changes to existing process and adjustments to technologies the company had already invested in. Using established industry guidelines such as ISA-95 combined with a proven methodology, Toward Zero identified areas to reduce waste for $1,030,000 in short-term cost savings, a clear path to efficiency and manufacturing operations profitability, and a plan for long-term growth across the plant network. Del Monte achieved 50-300% ROI on recommendations and improvements.
